Security Manager

The security portfolio is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all residents and visitors on the estate property and common areas. Creating a safe and secure living environment, enhancing the overall quality of life for residents, and protecting the estate’s assets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

Developing and implementing comprehensive security plans and strategies to protect the estate and keep residents and visitors safe and secure at all times.

Access Control

Managing the access control systems, including gates, entry points, and visitor management systems and procedures to ensure only authorised individuals can enter the estate.

Surveillance Systems

Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of surveillance cameras and other security equipment to deter and detect criminal activity.

Patrol Services

Coordinating frequent security patrols within the estate to maintain security visibility and presence, striving to promptly address any incidents or suspicious activities.

Emergency Response

Establishing and maintaining emergency response protocols and procedures to effectively handle incidents such as break-ins, fires, medical emergencies, and other crises that may affect the estate, residents and visitors.

Security Personnel Management

Hiring, training, and supervising security personnel and service providers to ensure they are well-prepared to perform their required duties effectively and professionally.

Incident Reporting and Investigation

Managing the reporting and investigation of security incidents, including documenting occurrences, analysing patterns, and implementing corrective actions.

Security Technology

Keeping up to date with advancements in security technology and recommending upgrades and/or new installations to enhance the estate’s security infrastructure.

Resident Communication

Keeping residents informed about security measures, protocols, and any security-related incidents or any concerns through regular communication updates and meetings.

Collaboration with Law Enforcement

Liaising and collaborating with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services to create stakeholder relationships and coordinate seamless responses to incidents and ensuring effective collaboration.

Policy Development and Enforcement

Developing and enforcing security policies and guidelines to ensure residents and visitors adhere to established security protocols.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

Conducting regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implementing measures to mitigate potential risks.

Community Engagement

Promoting security awareness among residents through communication platforms, roadshows, workshops and meetings to encourage proactive involvement in estate security.
